New Prescriptions

The landing page for Supervalue Pharmacies is little more than a portal to each of the component stores so shopping is just a matter of choosing the one that operates in your area. Selecting any one of the stores will lead to a pharmacy site that is identical to any of the other stores except for the name.

As is normally the case, the first step towards placing a new prescription order is to register an account. Then the customer enters how the pharmacy will receive the prescription from the prescriber. There are options for the patient or doctor to mail it in, the doctor to call or fax the authorization or the pharmacy can be asked to contact the physician.

Next, the doctor’s name and phone number along with the medication ordered must be entered. Supervalu Pharmacies operate online and as physical locations, so you have an option to request that the medication be delivered or to designate the store at which you’d like to pick it up. The option to pay at the store or online is also available.

Ground shipping is free of charge and is estimated to take 7-9 days. Second day or express shipping can be requested at additional cost.

Prescription Refills

Requesting a prescription refill is easy and to the point. Once logged into your account, you simply enter the store and prescription numbers of the existing prescription.

Prescription Transfers

Transferring an existing prescription from another pharmacy couldn’t be easier. Once logged into the Supervalu Pharmacies account, just enter the name and phone number of the pharmacy that currently holds the prescription and the name of the medication and the prescription number. Prescriptions can also be transferred by calling the pharmacy and providing the same information or by stopping by with the bottle for the existing prescription.
